xAWB.ro for online shops
Everything you can offer your customer after the parcel has left, in one place: a tracking box on your site, a link in the shipping e-mail and pages that explain each courier's statuses. Free, no account, no contract. Below we also say what you gain and what we gain.
What you can use
1. The tracking box on your site
One line of code on your "Track your order" page: the customer enters the AWB and sees where the parcel is without leaving your site. The courier is recognised from the number (Sameday, FAN Courier, Cargus, DPD, GLS, Poșta Română and the smaller ones). Code and demo: the tracking widget.
2. A link with the AWB filled in
In the shipping e-mail or SMS, instead of "search on the courier's site", a link that opens the parcel's tracking directly, whatever the courier:
https://xawb.ro/track?q=AWB
Replace AWB with the parcel number. It also works without a number: https://xawb.ro/, or
the page of the courier you use, e.g. https://xawb.ro/urmarire-colet-sameday.
3. Pages you can send the customer to
- What an AWB is and where to find it, by courier and at the big marketplaces.
- What parcel statuses mean: from "registered" to "delivered", with what to do at each.
- Parcel late?: the steps to take and each courier's official contact.
- Courier contacts and complaints: legal deadlines and how to file a complaint.
- Locker and pickup-point map, for customers who choose pickup.
What you gain
- Fewer "where is my parcel?" messages. The customer sees the parcel, with every scan, on your site or from a link.
- One tool for every courier. If you change courier or use several, nothing changes on your side.
- Nothing to manage. No account, no API keys, no contract, no cost. When a courier changes its system, we adapt.
- Your customers stay yours. We ask for no e-mail, set no cookies in the box, send no messages to your customers and keep none of their searches. The box shows only what the courier's public tracking shows.
- Romanian and English, on phones and desktops.
What we gain
We say it openly, because the site is built on transparency:
- Visitors. The box carries a "Powered by xAWB.ro" line and the links bring people to our site, which shows ads labelled "Advertisement". That is how xAWB.ro is funded. There are no ads inside the box.
- A natural link from a real site. Google finds us more easily when real shops send customers to us. We don't pay for links, don't sell them and don't ask for exclusivity.
- Signals about couriers. When many of a courier's parcels stall, we see it early and can show on the status page that it is a general problem, not just your customer's.
What we don't do
- We don't deliver parcels or sell transport. We are not affiliated with any courier or shop.
- We have no information beyond the courier's: if the status hasn't changed at the courier, it hasn't changed here.
- We don't use your customers' data in any way and don't sell it to anyone. Details in the privacy policy.
- We don't charge, and won't charge, for the box or the links on this page.
How to start
- Pick what suits you: the box, the link with the AWB filled in, or a plain link.
- Put it on your "Track your order" page and in the shipping e-mail. Keep the "Powered by xAWB.ro" line.
- Large volume (more than a few hundred searches an hour) or something specific? Write through the contact page. L Barta, who builds the site, answers.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The site is funded by the ads on xAWB.ro, not by what shops pay. There is no "premium" plan.
Does the box slow my site down?
No. It is a lazily loaded iframe (loading="lazy"): it loads only when the customer reaches it and runs
no script in your page.
What happens if a courier doesn't answer?
The box says the courier's tracking is temporarily unavailable and links to its site. See also courier status today.
Can I use the box for international parcels?
For the couriers in Romania and for Packeta and the international networks we cover. The list of couriers is on the home page.
