Transparency and company details
This is a translation for convenience. The Romanian version is the legally binding one; in case of any difference, the Romanian version prevails.
This page shows who operates xAWB.ro, where the information displayed comes from and how the site is funded, in line with the information requirements of Law no. 365/2002 on electronic commerce.

The details above can be checked by CUI in the public databases of ANAF (the Romanian tax authority) and ONRC (the National Trade Register Office).
Where the parcel information comes from
- Statuses are read from each courier's public tracking services, the same ones the courier makes available on its website or app to anyone who has the AWB number.
- We query the courier only when a visitor searches for an AWB. We don't collect data from couriers in bulk, we don't bypass logins and we don't access areas of courier systems that require an account.
- We don't alter the statuses: we translate them into a common format and, where relevant, hide personal data (for example the name of the person who signed for the parcel).
- xAWB.ro is not affiliated with any courier. Courier names are used only to indicate the service being tracked.
For couriers
If you represent a courier and would like us to change how we display information, use a different official source or stop displaying your service, write to us via the contact page. We reply to justified requests and act on them.
Funding
xAWB.ro is free for visitors and does not sell subscriptions. Its income comes from Google AdSense ads, labelled “Advertisement”, and is received and taxed in Romania through the PFA named above.
Legal status
- xAWB.ro is not a postal service provider and does not deliver parcels, so it does not need authorisation from ANCOM (the Romanian communications regulator). The couriers shown are authorised providers, independent of us.
- The site does not sell products or services to consumers; tracking is free and there are no payments on the site.
- Ads are displayed through Google AdSense; Google acts as an independent controller for the data used for ads, in accordance with its own policies.
Personal data
The data controller is the PFA named above. What data we keep and why is described in the privacy policy. For any request about your data (access, erasure, objection), write to contact@xawb.ro.
We have not appointed a data protection officer (DPO): our activity does not involve large-scale systematic monitoring of individuals, which is the case in which an appointment would be mandatory (Art. 37 GDPR).
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), the Romanian data protection authority.
