GLS parcels from other countries

GLS operates across much of Europe. Many parcels ordered from Germany, Hungary or Austria also reach Romania through GLS, keeping the same parcel number, so you can see the statuses from the international leg as well.

ParcelShop and ParcelLocker

If you weren't at home, GLS may leave the parcel at a nearby ParcelShop (status DELIVEREDPS). It stays there for a few working days and then goes back to the sender.

GLS: frequently asked questions

What does PREADVICE mean at GLS?

The sender has submitted the parcel details, but GLS hasn't scanned it yet. The status changes once the parcel enters the network.

My GLS parcel is coming from another country. Can I track it here?

Yes, provided GLS delivers it in Romania. The parcel number stays the same for the whole journey.

What do I bring to the ParcelShop?

The parcel number and an identity document. If someone else is collecting, ask the ParcelShop what kind of authorisation it accepts.
