What DPD statuses mean
| Status | What it means |

| Expedierea ta a fost înregistrată de către expeditor | The sender has created the AWB (‘Shipment data received’), but DPD hasn't picked up the parcel yet. |
| Expedierea ta a fost preluată de la expeditor | The DPD courier has picked up the parcel (‘Courier Pick-up’). |
| Expedierea ta a fost recepționată în depozitul DPD | The parcel was scanned on arrival at a depot (‘Arrival Scan’, ‘Received in Office’). |
| Departure Scan | The parcel has left the depot for the next point or for the local depot. |
| Out for Delivery | The courier has the parcel and it should arrive today. |
| Delivered | The parcel was handed over or left at a DPD Pickup point. |
| Unsuccessful order pickup | The courier couldn't collect the parcel from the sender; there will be another attempt. |
| Return to Sender | The parcel is being sent back to the sender. |
Why some DPD statuses are in English
DPD sends some scans with the standard wording of its European network (for example ‘Arrival Scan’ or ‘Out for Delivery’) and others in Romanian. On xAWB.ro you see them exactly as DPD sends them.
Parcels at DPD Pickup points and DPD lockers
If you chose to collect from a DPD Pickup point or locker, the AWB stays the same, and the final status shows as ‘Delivered’ as soon as the parcel gets there. The collection details (the point's address and the code) come from DPD by text message or email.
What to do if delivery is late
When the latest DPD scan is more than two working days old, phone or write to DPD and have the AWB to hand. If all you see is ‘înregistrată de către expeditor’ (registered by the sender), the parcel hasn't been handed over yet: ask the sender.

How many digits does a DPD AWB have?
DPD Romania AWBs are 11 to 14 digits long.
What does ‘Unsuccessful order pickup’ mean?
DPD couldn't collect the parcel from the sender on the planned date. The pickup is rescheduled; the sender gets the details from DPD.
Can I choose a DPD Pickup point?
Usually from the message DPD sends before delivery, or when ordering from the shop, if the shop offers that option.
